Holiday Lighting Connection

How it works

One call. We handle the season.

A free walk-through, a clear quote, a careful install, service whenever you need it, and takedown in January.

The process

Six steps, start to finish.

  1. 01

Call or book a free estimate

Call (805) 433-6250 any time, day or night, or send the estimate form. We set a time that works for you, Monday to Saturday.

  2. 02

    A 30 minute walk-through

We walk the property with you, look at rooflines, trees, outlets and power, and talk through the look you want.

  3. 03

    Your design and quote

You get a clear written quote for the design. Most homes start around $2,500. No pressure and no surprise add-ons.

  4. 04

    Installation day

Our crew installs with commercial grade lighting and staple-free clips, sets the digital timers, and tests every run.

  5. 05

    All season service

Anything goes out during the season, you call and we fix it. That is part of the price.

  6. 06

    Takedown in January

We take it all down in January. The lights are yours, so next year rebooks for about 25% less.

The guarantees

What every installation includes.

  • Commercial grade lighting

The same heavy-duty bulbs and wire used on storefronts and hotels, not the strands sold at the hardware store.

  • Engineered by a licensed electrician

Every design is laid out by a licensed electrical contractor (C-10 #877680), so circuits are sized for the load and nothing trips the breaker on Christmas Eve.

  • Staple free

We mount with clips made for your roofline and gutters. No staples, no nails, no holes in your trim.

  • Timers guaranteed to stay on

Digital timers bring the display on at dusk and off at the hour you choose. If one fails, we fix it.

  • Service all season

A bulb goes out, a strand gets knocked loose in the wind, a timer needs changing: call and we come back. It is included.

  • Takedown in January

After the holidays we come back and take everything down carefully, so your lights are ready for next year.

  • You own the lights

The lights are yours. You are not renting a display that disappears with the contract.

  • About 25% off year two

Returning customers rebook for about 25% less, because the design is done and the lights are already yours.

FAQ

Questions we hear most.

How much does it cost?

Every property is different, so we quote after a free walk-through. Most homes start around $2,500. Larger estates, tall trees and commercial properties are quoted on the design.

How is the price worked out?

By the foot of lighting, and that one price includes everything: the lights, every strand, extension cord, clip and timer, the trees we wrap, installation, service all season and takedown. No add-ons.

Are the lights under warranty?

Yes. The lights are warrantied for two seasons.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Electrical work is done by Gold Coast Electric Connection, LLC, a licensed and insured California electrical contractor (C-10 #877680). You can look the license up on the CSLB website.

Do I own the lights?

Yes. The lights are yours. That is why your second year costs about 25% less: the design is done and the lights are already paid for.

Will you put staples or nails in my house?

No. We install staple free, using clips made for rooflines, gutters and shingles.

What happens if a bulb or strand goes out?

Service during the season is included. Call us and we come back and fix it.

Who designs the electrical side?

Our sister company, Gold Coast Electric Connection, is a licensed electrical contractor (C-10 #877680). Every display is engineered so the circuits handle the load.

When do you take the lights down?

In January. Takedown is included.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can. We take on a limited number of installs each season so every customer gets real service, and the calendar fills from the fall.

Do you light businesses and HOAs?

Yes. We light storefronts, office properties, and HOA entries and common areas, and we work with property managers.

What areas do you serve?

Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Oak Park, Moorpark, Camarillo, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Brentwood and Beverly Hills.
